why e-learning?
  • 'Just-in-time' training - bite sized chunks of information that are accessed at the time they are needed so that learners don't waste time learning material that will be out of date or forgotten by the time they come to use it.
  • Users work at their own pace using an easy to navigate structure.
  • Immediate access to focused knowledge and reference.
  • Accessible anytime and from anywhere with an internet connection - no need to spend time or money on transport or accommodation.
  • Always up-to-date.
  • Links to other electronic resources such as from the EU, ICH, EMEA, FDA etc.
  • Economical and scalable.

what are they?

Zenosis modules are high quality e-learning courses which are always up-to-date. Additionally they are designed to be used as online reference and performance support materials.

Each module focuses on all aspects of a specific subject, explains the relevant legislation and provides expert commentary based on real-world experience of regulatory compliance and good practice. At the end of each module there is an optional assessment.

how difficult are they?

Although all the modules are aimed at professionals, the level of the modules varies from introductory through to advanced. The module catalogue gives a detailed outline of each module including its approximate level and duration.

what does 'always up-to-date' mean?

This is one of the key benefits of using Zenosis modules. Regulations, their interpretation and associated guidelines are subject to constant change. Zenosis modules will always reflect the current legislation and also describe changes in the pipeline.

how will I know if updates have been made to a module I have purchased?

Each time a module is updated we email all the users of that module and when users log on the Zenosis system they will see details of the changes on the homepage.

who writes the modules?

Industry experts who have real-life experience of complying with regulations on a day to day basis work with Zenosis editors and instructional designers to provide modules which are not only relevant and accurate but also engaging to use so that they will promote learning. The industry expert for each module can be found in its detailed description in the module catalogue.

how does the solution reduce risk?

Subscription to Zenosis allows users to make better informed decisions and reduces risk of these being made on the basis of out-of-date information.

At the end of each module there is a mastery assessment which users can complete multiple times, and the results are stored in their personal quiz results history that they can access using the 'personal' menu. If requested, Zenosis support can send managers a report of any user's assessment results and evaluation forms that they have completed.

how long will it take?

The length of time taken to complete each module varies upon the individual subject, the learner and use of external electronic resources provided. Generally speaking Zenosis modules take 4-6 hours to complete. One of the benefits of e-learning is that learners can proceed at their own pace enabling them to skip over areas they are familiar with or spend additional time on areas of specific interest.

what do I need to buy to access a single module?

You need to buy a module licence.

what if I want to access several modules?

You need to buy a module licence for each module you wish to access.

what is a module licence?

A module licence entitles a user to be allocated a single module of their choice; module licences are not transferable between staff.

what benefits do I obtain from a module licence?

A Zenosis module licence provides access to copyrighted Zenosis modules covering four different functions:

  • Access to the content contained in your module of choice for training purposes.
  • Access to search and glossary functions supporting use as a day to day reference tool.
  • Regular updates of related regulatory changes.
  • Utilisation of a wide range of tools for users and managers to analyse and verify usage.
can my company have several people access the same module?

Yes, both contract types allow for total flexibility. All that is required is that each person must utilise a module licence. For example, if five people all wish to access our module 'The Essentials of Regulatory Affairs' five licences are required.

can a user have access to more than one module?

Yes, a user can access as many different modules as required. However each different module requires the use of a single module licence.

if a member of staff no longer requires access to a module can I reallocate it to another member of staff?

Unfortunately this is not possible. The module licence entitles the user to access both the module and the record of training / usage. Also Zenosis' very competitive pricing is set at this level based upon a one user, one module scenario.

what happens when a user needs another module?

Users simply subscribe to another module by contacting either Zenosis or their organisations contact. This will require another module licence.

what happens when a user no longer needs access to a module?

The user can unsubscribe to the module and will not be charged any future maintenance fee for that module. In addition, access will be terminated and the user will no longer have access to that module.

what happens if I no longer need access to my modules, but still wish to access my training records?

In order to maintain access to your records you must be enrolled on at least one module. A certificate of completion can be printed for your training records if required.

how often do I need to pay for access to the module?

Module licences are paid for on a one-off basis although on rare occasions module may be withdrawn (see below). After this you simply pay an annual licence renewal.

what does the renewal licence cover?

The fee entitles the user to continuing access to the module, unlimited updates to the module throughout the year, email updates of changes, access to the Zenosis Learning Management System and technical support.

what if a manager needs access to their staff's information but isn't enrolled on a module?

Managers are usually enrolled on a course, however additional 'manager licences' are also available. Zenosis supply a number of complimentary manager licences with each corporate contract (more than 100 module licences).

what does a manager licence entitle the holder to?

A manager licence grants a manager access to the training records of staff allocated to them. This will include details of the modules they are enrolled on, when this was last accessed and assessment scores.

under what circumstances would a module licence be withdrawn?

Occasionally legislation changes so fundamentally that the existing module covering that subject area is no longer relevant. For example the EU Clinical Trials Directive was issued in 2004. In these circumstances Zenosis will release a new module covering the new legislation and after 3 months withdraw the old module. A licensed user is not forced to purchase the new module, but can do so. The amount of the fee will reflect the length of time since the licensed user purchased the original module licence. As a guide, Zenosis will withdraw a module when more than 70% of the content changes at any one time. (To date, no module has ever been withdrawn).

what happens when my company has used all its module licences?

Additional module licences can be purchased from Zenosis one at a time or with corporate flexi contracts. A top-up contract is available in 'discounted bundles'.

how many manager licences are included with my corporate flexi contract?

A total of 5% of the total module licences purchased, for example five on a total of one hundred module licences.
